Why assess?

Identify your organization’s unique combination of needs and strengths. Collect data directly from your team to inform and strengthen organizational initiatives.

Determine priority areas. Focus your efforts on addressing your most pressing issues.

Secure buy-in and increase transparency by demonstrating a need for action. Boost motivation and accountability by openly sharing findings with team members and stakeholders.

What does assessment involve?

Organization-wide anonymous survey. Ensure your equity, diversity, and inclusion actions directly address team members’ needs and ideas.

Policy and procedure review. Facilitate structural change by identifying opportunities to make organizational policies and processes more equitable and inclusive.

Focus groups and/or interviews. Deepen understanding of key survey and policy findings through structured small group discussions, consultations with organizational working groups, and/or one-on-one conversations.

Custom data analysis. Fuel accurate, comprehensive recommendations by combining findings from your survey, policy review, focus groups, internal HR data, and public data.

Reporting of findings. Easily access your complete results through a summary of key findings, detailed results with explanations, and data visualizations to illustrate main points.

Follow-up. Conduct regular follow-up assessments to measure your progress and guide future action.

Why work with an external consultant?

Increase anonymity and confidentiality. Facilitate team members’ comfort to respond openly by having someone outside your organization receive and analyze survey results.

Minimize conflict of interest. Get assessment results that accurately represent the state of your organization, without bias of what your team hopes the findings will show.

Reduce workload for your team. Have survey development, data analysis, and reporting taken care of so your team can focus on facilitating inclusion in their roles.
