We all have unique identities, experiences, and ways of thinking. The CoDE approach - co for cognitive, d for demographic, and e for experiential diversity - is central to my assessments, strategies, and training. This framework empowers organizations to integrate varied perspectives and highlight individual strengths by embracing these interconnected areas of difference.
Cognitive diversity includes variation in how we perceive and process information - such as how we learn, remember, focus, solve problems, make decisions, and interact with others.
Demographic diversity refers to intersectional identities across age, disability, family and civil status, gender identity and expression, Indigeneity, nationality, race, religion, sexual orientation, and more.
Experiential diversity includes individual lived experiences through education, work, family, locations of residency, travel, trauma, personal hardships and successes, hobbies, interests, and more.
